A Project in Mind

 Writing - The Book
Hello, this is an idea that has been pursued before, but I gave up on it. I tried several times to come back to it, but now that I've learned from my mistakes, I won't make the same errors again. I hadn't posted the project here, so few remembered it. For those who do remember, I've made some modifications to the story to introduce conflicts with the characters in the future.

Story

The Bloody Past
In a small region, there were two kingdoms, one called Baltia and the other Dalsis. The kingdom of Dalsis was a place devoid of rights, ruled by a monstrously cruel king. The kingdom leaned heavily towards militarism; young children from families were captured by the kingdom's soldiers to be trained into formidable warriors to serve the king. They conquered everything in their path. One day, Baltia decided to declare war on Dalsis. However, Dalsis lacked significant armaments. This war dragged on for years, filled with bloody battles and no survivors. Then, one day, the kingdom of Dalsis stumbled upon a book in a cavern filled with traps and monsters. After acquiring the book, they tried to decipher its contents. It took them a long time to learn a poisoning spell from it. They poisoned many people from Baltia, and few survived to defend the kingdom, but all of them perished.

After Dalsis' victory, the king coveted the book for himself, desiring to become an invincible ruler. However, someone betrayed and murdered him. Soon, it became known that the traitor fled with the book until being caught. Many claimed the traitor was killed, fled leaving the book behind, or took it with them, but nobody knows for sure. With no king or prince, the kingdom fell into chaos. Many who once feared the kingdom no longer did, hearing rumors that it had collapsed, yet no one ever found it.

100 Years Later
The world was filled with mystical creatures, passive beings that posed no threat, a world of peace. One day, an unknown life form crashed to Earth in a meteor in a city called Luzifer, a calm and peaceful city free of theft and murder, always living in peace, a good place to live located in the south of the country Bresma. When the meteor fell, people were shocked. Some approached while others backed away in fear of potential danger. Suddenly, the meteor split open, revealing a red light emanating from within, inching closer to the people. As it emerged, a monstrous creature with strange markings on its body and adorned in armor appeared, frightening everyone, even the animals. The creature began emitting a red energy that destroyed everything in its path, causing panic and devastation. News of a monster ravaging everything around it quickly reached the Central, a heavily fortified stronghold located in the heart of Bresma.

The Emperor of the Central dispatched special soldiers to confront the creature, but none returned. As soldiers kept going to kill the monster, it began following those who fled, heading towards the Central. The population was terrified, and people were fleeing, even the Emperor's soldiers were giving up on defeating the monster. The Emperor, a man of loyalty and kindness, was overwhelmed with fear. The kingdom's sorcerer, a mysterious hooded figure who never revealed his face and lived in the shadows of the Central, told the Emperor that if he could control the monster, he would gain absolute power. Driven by ambition, the Emperor disregarded the risk of death and attempted to dominate the monster. When the monster reached the Central, soldiers attempted to defeat it, but they were annihilated along with half the city in the blink of an eye. Each time the Emperor heard the cries and suffering of his people, he grew more terrified. He had a trap to capture the monster, but he hesitated. Eventually, he managed to ensnare it, but as he approached, the monster destroyed the trap and killed the soldiers attacking it with arrows. The Emperor began to cry and knelt before the monster, begging for forgiveness. Without understanding his plea, the monster eliminated him along with a section of the castle with its red energy, the heart of the Central. Suddenly, a circle with strange markings appeared. The monster touched the giant circle and uttered some words, releasing a powerful light that ascended to the sky. News of what happened at the Central spread rapidly worldwide. Researchers from the Ifri kingdom went to investigate and found the circle, which seemed partially faded. They began to investigate what this circle was...

For several months, the monster disappeared without a trace, until two years later when it resurfaced... A boy who lost his parents seeks revenge on the monster. One day, King Garett of Dalaan decided to recruit people to go after the monster and kill it. Luke, the boy who lost his parents, a young man who uses people to achieve his goal of revenge, decides to go to Dalaan to try to use the soldiers who were going after the monster. However, he faces several obstacles, including helping Lucy, a 19-year-old girl, against unknown soldiers passing through. After defeating the soldiers, she offers to help him in return, but he refuses help from her or anyone else. Eventually, more unknown soldiers appear, and they join forces to defeat them and reach Dalaan in time to join the army before they depart.
